Central, as leader of Lenox Hill's design build team, planned and oversaw the doubling of the Emergency Department without interrupting regular emergency service.
During preconstruction, Central managed the planning team, including the architect and engineer, and coordinated with hospital staff to develop a phased construction plan. The renovation was made while Emergency Department operations continued uninterrupted, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Completed in 2006.
Central has worked with Lenox Hill Hospital on numerous major projects over a span of more than eight years.
